Today was insane. One of the busier work days I’ve had in a while. It started at 8am and I didn’t get home till after 7pm. That created a host of issues in my workout plans. Normally I workout in the morning prior to starting my day, but that wasn’t possible due to my appointment schedule.

So, on my drive home, I was telling myself that if I didn’t workout today I’d likely be sitting in bed before I fall asleep telling myself “you’re a schmuck Gould!”
I could not let that happen.
When I finally got home Jeney had dinner started – fortunately. I was already really hungry! She told me it would take about another 20 minutes until it was done. So I went to work.
Knowing that I had only 20 minutes to workout, I decided to get on the stationary bike AND pick up the weights to do both at the same time. In 15 minutes I was able to get 3.5 miles in on the bike and do a serious arm work out. I got my heart rate up to 161 at one point! That’s a higher level than I have reached since I started this new health adventure. I did a 5 minute cool down, literally I went outside cause I was so damn hot LOL.
Within 10 minutes, my heart rate was back to normal. I’m really pumped on this because this was definitely not the case a month ago.
